Countdown to Episode III:

The Turning Point at Delgado

The Players (or Player Characters, or PCs) start out infected by a virus created by a Mad Scientist who wants to take over the galaxy. This happens on a Transport Train that is dropping the PCs off to their ships in the spaceport. The PCs are infected with the super nano virus that starts to change them into humans.

The Players wake up in the quarantine area of the Spaceport authority. There they find out they are infected with the virus. Players who are human become younger and more vibrant and start to forget who they are. They have days or maybe even hours to find out a cure. At the quarantine area of the Spaceport authority they speak to a Bio Droid who tells them to see Doctor Hinds Riss who can help them with the virus.

The PCs are then arrested by the planet's security force and suspected of being the ones who are spreading this new nano virus. They are interrogated by Security Chief Nelson, one at a time. Security Chief Nelson believes them when they say that they know nothing about the virus, but he tells them he will keep an eye on them.

They must find the NAP Doctor Hinds Riss to help them find a cure or become slaves to the virus. Doctor Hinds Riss gives them a shot that he thinks may stop the nano virus, but is killed by an NAP Assassin. Before he is killed, he tells the Players about NAP So Vetch and were they may find him. The Players find out that Doctor Hinds Riss & So Vetch were good friends and that So Vetch is a scientist of sorts and may be able to help them find a cure and find out who created the virus.

The Players give chase to the assassin. The Players recover the assassin’s data pad and discover that the assassin’s backer is a Hutt named Nil-Donate. Nil-Donate will stop at nothing to turn the Players in to his puppets. Nil-Donate has hired a Mercenary Group to snuff out the PCs and kill Doctor Hinds Riss.

The Players escape to the street and make a run for Doctor Hinds Ross's Lab. There they read the doctor's data pad and computer and find the body of Doctor Hinds Riss missing. They read the disc and find out the information about the assassin’s backer a Hutt named Nil-Donate.

The Players found information in Doctor Hinds Riss' computer about the super-sly NAP So Vetch, a wandering space bum. The PCs find him around the fringes of the galaxy near the unknown regions of space. He is hiding from the Imperials.

Unexpectedly, they are confronted Doctor Hinds Riss and an Imperial “Goon Squad”! Doctor Hinds Riss finds them by using the super nano virus as a homing beacon. Doctor Hinds Riss is working for The Emperor and Nil-Donate the Hutt knows nothing. On the space monitor So Vetch and Doctor Hinds Riss start a dialog about long ago in a time long past, etc. The talk is mostly about racial purification and The Emperor’s new order and how he will use this new nano virus to reed the universe of the alien scum and how all-living humanoids will be perfect and pure and be truly human.

At this point the PCs hack into an Imperial Star Destroyer and steal all of Doctor Hinds Riss data and set the Imperial Star Destroyer’s engines on self destruct, then leave by the quickest means possible. After analyzing the data, they find that Doctor Hinds Riss has plans in the works to assassinate the Rebel leaders.

The End

Will the Players get a chance to save the Rebel leaders?

Will they go after the Hutt?

No one knows......until the Next Game!

==========================================================
Thank you to all who showed up at my house to game. I appreciate the help some of you gave during the game, on rules for D20. I had a wonderful time with all of you. Phil for a first time gamer, you did a wonderful job, same goes for Dave and Lilly. I also would like to thank Devon and Curtis for helping with rules. A very special thanks goes to Mike Hammer for helping all of us get together and Game. I hope everyone had a wonderful time. I know I did. I look forward to hosting the next game again.

Hans "The Executor" Aeschbacher

Hans dishes out some Game Master justice to the back of Phil's head.

Devon looks comfy.

"The doctor's still alive? You've got to be kidding."

"No, you cannot use your +3 Sword of Ogre Slaying."
