We are trying to get back on track with monthly Council meetings. This month's meeting was held at the lovely home of our President, Matt Springer. We were also able to watch some cool new TV commercials, periodically interrupted by some sporting event.
Meeting Minutes
CapriCon Room Party
-Hopefully we can get in the room by 3:00 PM on Saturday
-We can get any furniture we want
-Ask for a 12x12 dance floor
-$300 desposit for furniture, either cash or credit card
-The Corkscrews will be playing two sets
- - First set at 10:30, original music
- - Second set at 12:00, party music covers
-There is no bar in the room, we will have to provide
-(Various decorating ideas were discussed at length)
First Book Club meeting
-Everything went well, people had a good time
-9 people showed up, some old, some new
-Went out to Olive Garden afterwards
-Next meeting, Feb 22, "Courtship of Princess Leia"
-March 22 meeting, "Heir to the Empire"
-April meeting, "Tattooine Ghost"
-Do we run two clubs, each meeting once a month?
- - Only if there is no crossover between groups
-How do we get a discount at every store, not just B&N?
