Chicago Force

September 14, 2002

The Chicago Force Jedi Council had their monthly meeting today at the home of Mark "JodoKast" Franklin. They discussed future expansion of Chicago Force, finalized plans for the paintball outing, and came up with outlines for our Video Scavenger Hunt in October and the trip to WindyCon and FilmCon in November.

As usual, they used it as an excuse to stuff their fat gobs with greasy and high-calorie food. As usual, faithful Chicago Force probe-droid AZ-70V was there to capture all the action.

The adventure that was driving to Mark's. The less said about this the better.	Matt had to stop at some drug dealer on the corner for his nose-candy.	2 hours after the meeting was supposed to start, everyone is finally there.
Mmmmmm.....fried chicken.	It's always a wild party at Council meetings.	The dog trails Matt, waiting for him to drop something.
Everyone is all smiles after seeing Dave's butt.	Dave is all smiles after showing everyone his butt.	When Mark Franklin speaks, people listen.
Phil exclaims, "Dammit! I'm pissed and I'm not going to take it anymore!" The meeting devolves into absorbing the latest issues of the Insider and Toy Fare.

Meeting Minutes

PAINTBALL
     -We need to arrange a meeting place/time
     -Meet at 8:00 AM, Sunday, Sept 22
     -Huck Finn's (at the corner of Archer & Damen), they have good breakfast
     -We should tell people the minimum amount of money to bring for paint, CO2 fills, etc.
     -People should bring at least $30
     -Every one should group up and buy a case and split it

EAST TROY TROLLEY
     -Opens at 10:00
     -We wil meet at Thom's place and carpool from there
     -Meet at 9:00 AM
     -Everyone to provide their own food

AOTC ON IMAX
     -We should hand out cards and sell t-shirts
     -Good opportunity to collect e-mail addresses
     -We will pick one day for everyone to go
     -Show up on Nov 2 in CF t-shirt, show time to be determined later

DVD Party
     -We should probably combine this with the Holiday party
     -Item tabled for more info (a.k.a., "Dude, where's my Jeff?")

SCAVENGER HUNT
     -Will take place on 10/19, Saturday
     -Suggestions for items?
     -We need to find a location for after party
     -need to get signup list soon to arrange teams
     

WINDYCON
     -It's possible that the party rooms will be free
     -No furniture
     -Matt made reservation for regular room, just in case
     -Ray scoring the booze
     -Dave & Matt arranging menu
     -10/27 - building props party

CAPRICON
     -We may have an 1100 sq ft room free
     -furniture on request
     

FILMCON
     -someone needs to make hotel reservation
     -Thom will check in that
